Built for demanding professional data and digital audio networks, the NE4225SUTP is a 100 Ω Cat6 S/UTP cable engineered for the environments where standard network cable fails: broadcast, live events, AV-over-IP, stage, touring and rental, and industrial-grade system integration.

Its transmission core follows true Category 6 discipline: solid AWG23 bare copper conductors with a low-loss polyolefin dielectric, four twisted pairs laid around a central filler that locks the geometry in place during handling, drum winding and repeated deployment — with component performance referenced to ISO/IEC 11801 / EN 50173 Class E and tested from 1 to 250 MHz. Ethernet, Dante, AES67, AV-over-IP and lighting control travel on a stable 100 Ω platform, run after run.

Around that core, the construction is unapologetically rugged. A double-jacket build — overlapping Mylar binder, inner jacket, and a tinned copper braid with over 80% coverage — delivers the EMI screening that crowded stages and racks demand, while the matt black polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket provides outstanding abrasion and mechanical resistance, from -20 °C mobile service down to -40 °C in fixed routing. At 8.0 mm overall, it terminates on standard field connectors and survives the life that touring cable actually lives.
