The BA222AF-ZHFR is a professional balanced audio installation cable made in Italy, engineered around a Low Smoke Zero Halogen, flame retardant construction. Both the polyolefin dielectric and the matt black jacket compound are completely halogen free: in the event of fire, the cable does not propagate flame and releases minimal smoke and no toxic or corrosive gases — protecting people, escape routes and sensitive electronics. This is the fire performance that public and commercial buildings demand, and that standard PVC cables simply cannot offer.

Around this LSZH / FRNC core, every layer is specified for permanent installation. It is the analogue backbone of every fixed system — line-level connections between DSP, matrices and amplifiers, conference and paging stations, wall plates, rack wiring, analogue control signals and microphone lines. Stranded bare copper conductors (7 x 0.20 mm) terminate cleanly on XLR panels, Phoenix blocks and punch-down fields, while the low-loss polyolefin insulation keeps capacitance down on long balanced runs. The overlapping aluminium-Mylar foil shield delivers 100% coverage against LED drivers, dimmers and mains cabling sharing the same paths, with a tinned copper drain wire for fast, repeatable grounding.

All in a compact 3.1 mm diameter that packs high channel density into trays and conduit.
